Nori Heikkinen
Originally from Madison, WI, where she sang with the all-female Madison Children's Choir for ten years, Nori has had a tumultuous relationship with music since her early days. At Swarthmore College, she sang with the choir and the women's group Cantatrix; she also studied viola and played with the college orchestra and the nocturnal Midnight Quintett.
Somehow, though, she ended up majoring in Computer Science and Linguistics; and despite her best intentions to move to San Francisco to seriously pursue the viola, she wound up working as a Site Reliability Engineer for Google.
One of these days, she plans to quit her day job in order to become a starving musician.
Nori is especially happy to be a part of the International Orange Chorale, not only for the opportunity to sing with a wonderful group, but because it has the word "orange" in its name.
