Chloe Veltman
Chloe Veltman is a British, San Francisco-based singer and arts journalist/broadcaster. Chloe was previously a member of the alto section of San Francisco Renaissance Voices. These days, besides IOC, she sings with the a cappella quintet Full Fathom Five alongside IOC members Nick Weininger, Nori Heikkinen, Elaine Robertson and Matt Scherb. Chloe is a culture columnist for The New York Times. Her weekly articles about the Bay Area arts scene appear in the Times every other Friday. Chloe is also the host and producer of VoiceBox, a weekly public radio series about the art of singing on NPR-affiliate KALW 91.7 FM. Her work as an arts critic and reporter has appeared in many UK- and US-based media including The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, BBC Classical Music Magazine, Gramophone Magazine and The Believer. She serves as the associate producer of -- and a script-writer for -- the radio component of NPR's Keeping Score, a series of radio documentaries about classical music and is the Berkeley Symphony's resident dramaturg.
